“Success comes to those who prepare with purpose.” The Inter-House General Knowledge Quiz Competition was successfully held at St. Lawrence High School and Junior College, fostering curiosity, teamwork, and healthy competition among students. The quiz, based on the theme “Around Asia Challenge,” encouraged participants to explore diverse areas of general knowledge of the countries of Asia. Teams comprising of students from grades 7 and 8 from the four school houses—Lily, Lotus, Marigold, and Tulip—participated enthusiastically, in this competition which consisted of five engaging rounds, testing knowledge, presence of mind, and teamwork. After an exciting contest, the team from Marigold House emerged as the winner and was awarded with certificates and gifts. The event was a great success, enriching students’ learning experiences and promoting confidence and collaboration. Such events play a vital role in promoting intellectual curiosity and holistic development.
