The Primary Investiture Ceremony at St Lawrence High School and Junior College
“Leadership is not about titles, but about responsibility and service.”
St. Lawrence High School & Junior College proudly hosted the Primary Section Investiture Ceremony where young learners stepped forward to embrace leadership.
The newly elected council members marched onto stage and were conferred with badges. They took a solemn oath to uphold honesty, dedication and teamwork.
Principal Suman Ma’am motivated students to lead with humility, discipline and compassion, to follow school rules, respect others, and be polite and patient.
She explained that council members must help both teachers and students. While students should respect council decisions, they must use their own wisdom. They should follow right instructions, like walking in a line, but if the council misuses power, they should think wisely and inform teachers. We should not follow leaders blindly, but with understanding.
The ceremony instilled accountability, wisdom and service, reflecting the school’s commitment to holistic education and nurturing responsible citizens.
