To develop a love for reading, encourage students to share their favourite stories, and enhance their creativity and communication skills.

St. Lawrence School celebrated the birthday of the beloved children’s author Julia Donaldson with great joy and enthusiasm. The students shared their favourite stories with one another and spoke about the books they enjoyed reading. They also wrote the names of their favourite books on small, colourful cards and mentioned why they liked them. To make the celebration more special, the children decorated a birthday cake on the classroom outside board for Julia Donaldson.

The activity encouraged a love for reading, creativity, and sharing among the students, making it a memorable and joyful celebration.
