Water is our survival – lessons for the future at St. Lawrence High School and Junior College
At St. Lawrence High School and Junior College, the Grade 3 and 4 students made posters on the topic “Save Water, Every Drop Counts” as a part of their SDG learning. They talked about why water is important and how to save it.
All students saved water by pouring their leftover drinking water into buckets and for plants. Later, this water was reused by the aunties for cleaning the floors. This showed how even a little water can be used again.
The Grade 1 and 2 students saw a small play. It showed how throwing garbage in water makes water dirty and harms fish and animals. They learned that we should never throw waste in water.
Thus all the children They learnt that water is life. If we save water today, we will have a safe and happy tomorrow.
