The event began with the choir singing the Ganesh Vandhana to invoke Lord Ganesha’s blessings followed by the handing over the flags by the outgoing council to the newly elected council. The Oath Taking Ceremony was the highlight of the show which definitely gave goosebumps to everyone present.

The Managing Trustee and Founder Principal of the school Ms. Summan Datta then conferred the badges to the newly appointed council members. The Head Student  Siya Jha, Head Boy Dharamesh Suryawanshi and Head Girl Durva Kulkarni shared their determination to bring in a change and give their best to fulfill their responsibilities. The Outgoing  Council was also felicitated with certificates by Ma’am.

At St. Lawrence High School & Junior College leaders for tomorrow’s society are prepared through election and formation of the council where they are trained to take up responsibility and are trained to fulfill the same with utmost honesty and dedication.
