Dance is the purest expression of every emotion, earthly and spiritual.” — Anna Pavlova

St. Lawrence High School and Junior College has conducted a PBL activity for Class VII students. The PBL was based on the Hindi topic “Bharat ke Nrutya.” This topic highlighted the rich cultural heritage of India through its diverse dance forms. Students explored various classical and folk dances such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi, Manipuri, Bhangra, Garba, and Lavani.

Students enthusiastically presented the topics through charts, models, costumes, and presentations. They showcased the beauty, expressions, and traditional values behind each dance form.

The project helped students appreciate India’s unity in diversity and understand how dance reflects our traditions and history.

This activity enhanced creativity, cultural knowledge, and respect for Indian art forms among students.
