Field Trip Fun at St Lawrence High School and Junior College
The Grade 1 students from St. Lawrence High School and Junior College went on an exciting field trip to Tapovan Nursery. It was a wonderful opportunity for the young learners to explore nature and to learn about the different types of plants and trees.
During the visit, the students saw many beautiful and unique plants. They were very curious and excited to learn about the Rudraksha Tree and the different kinds of medicinal plants which are used for making medicines. The nursery staff explained how plants are important for our health and environment.
The children also observed different varieties of palm trees such as the Sago Palm and Bottle Palm. They were amazed to learn that some plants can grow well in water and special conditions. The students were also shown a plant that is about 25 years old, which surprised them and helped them understand how plants grow over many years.
Another highlight of the trip was seeing the colorful varieties of Rose Plants. The bright flowers and pleasant fragrance made the children very happy.
Overall, the field trip was a joyful and educational experience. The students were excited to see so many plants and trees, and they enjoyed learning about nature. It was a memorable trip where the children explored, discovered, and appreciated the beauty of plants.
