At St. Lawrence High School and Junior College, we believe that children understand values and morals better through stories. As it is rightly said, “Stories are a powerful way to teach important life lessons.”

The objective of our Kathalaya sessions has always been to develop reading skills, build confidence in speaking, and help students understand moral values through engaging storytelling activities.

Our Grade 2 children not only read interesting stories like Drigity Droo the Determined Dragon and Tenali Raman and the Two Thieves but also retold them with the help of puppets and enacted the characters.
