Science at St Lawrence High School and Junior College

“Science helps us to explore, discover, and understand the world around us.”

The Primary Section of St. Lawrence High School and Junior College organized a Science Exhibition where our little scientists showed their creative models and projects. The exhibition gave students a chance to learn by doing and to share their ideas with confidence.

The main objective of conducting this session was to develop the children’s interest in science and improve practical knowledge. It was arranged to help students understand their lessons better through activities and working models instead of only reading from textbooks. The session also helped children improve their speaking skills, teamwork and observation skills.

The Grade 1 and Grade 2 students presented models on Sources of Water, Types of Plants, Modes of Transportation, Different Types of Houses, and Road Safety Rules. The Grade 3 and Grade 4 students displayed working models like the Water Cycle, Human Lungs Model, Water Filter Model, and States of Matter. The exhibition was a great success and made everyone proud of our young scientists.
