To celebrate the spirit of creativity and eco-friendliness, our school, St. Lawrence High School and Junior College organized a Ganpati Making Workshop for the students of Grades 5, 6, and 7. The event aimed to instill artistic skills, cultural awareness, and environmental responsibility among young learners. The workshop began with a short introduction on the significance of Lord Ganesha in Indian culture and the importance of using eco-friendly materials to protect the environment. Pride of St. Lawrence — Shravani Pandhare Shines in Bharatnatyam
Miss Shravani Pandhare, a class 9 student of St. Lawrence High School and Junior College has brought glory to the institution by winning a scholarship under the Sanskritik Pratibha Khoj Chhatravritti Yojana 2024–25, organised by the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Selected for her outstanding talent in Bharatnatyam, Shravani’s further training will now be sponsored by the Government. Out of lakhs of participants nationwide, only 650 students were chosen, with just 8 from Maharashtra — making her achievement truly exceptional. The school community is immensely proud of her
The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at St Lawrence High School & Junior College.
The programme began with the national anthem, “Jana Gana Mana”, which filled the air with a sense of unity and pride. This was followed by the patriotic song “Vijayi Vishwa Tiranga Pyara”, honouring the tricolour as the symbol of our nation’s strength and freedom.A patriotic medley was then presented, followed by an energetic song paying tribute to our brave soldiers.
