In this day and age, when there is rapid westernisation in our Indian Society, it’s become even more imperative to acquaint our future generations with the culture and traditions of our country.

With this aim, the Hindi Department at St. Lawrence High School and Junior College organized a fun and interactive activity ‘Bharat ke Pramukh Tyohar’

The young students of class 5 had a blast dressing up in the traditional clothes associated with different festivals of our country and enjoying the special delicacies of each festival.

The teachers guided them to know and understand the history and significance behind each celebration. We believe students learn and understand better when learning is made fun.
