The Lawrentian Primary Section’s encounter with an Alien
At St. Lawrence High School and Junior College, the Grade 1 kids had the pleasure of reading “Alabaloo: The Lost Alien,” a heartwarming book written by acclaimed author Sonia Mehta. With over two decades of experience, Sonia Mehta is a renowned children’s writer known for sparking imagination in kids through storytelling.
This delightful book tells the story of ‘Alabaloo’, a lost alien who embarks on a journey that’s both adventurous and endearing. Through Alabaloo’s tale, the Grade 1 children learnt valuable lessons about making friends and the importance of friendship. The story beautifully highlights how friendships can help overcome challenges and make unfamiliar situations more manageable, bringing joy, support, and a sense of belonging.
