The Primary Section of St. Lawrence High School recently conducted a Culmination Activity of Rachel Bright’ s books – “The Koala who could”, “The Lion inside”, “The pandas who promised”, “The Gecko and the Echo”, “The Squirrels who squabbled” and “The way home for wolf” – to assess and reinforce the students’ learning.

This culmination helped students to revise concepts, apply their knowledge, and demonstrate their understanding through fun activities. This activity aimed to nurture creativity and encourage active participation to improve confidence and critical thinking.

All year round the students had loved reading and observing the stories of Rachel Bright and the illustrations of Jim Field. Therefore as a tribute to the author-illustrator duo, the children drew their own cover pages from their own respective favourite books.

After that teachers displayed those pictures on the boards outside their classes to encourage children.
