“Love your body because you only have one.” – Emma Watson

At St. Lawrence High School and Junior College, the Grade 1 and Grade 2 students explored the topic “Our Body” and learned about the important internal organs – the brain, heart, lungs, and stomach.

They discussed the functions of each organ and understood how these organs help us think, breathe, digest food, and stay healthy every day. This session was conducted to create awareness about the human body and help children understand the importance of maintaining good health and healthy habits.

To make learning engaging and meaningful, students participated in a hands-on activity where they placed flashcards of the internal organs in their correct positions on a chart. The children enthusiastically identified each organ and confidently shared its function.

This activity encouraged active participation, strengthened their understanding of the topic, and made learning fun, interactive, and memorable.
