Hygiene at St. Lawrence High School and Junior College
At St. Lawrence High School and Junior College, the Grade 1 and Grade 2 students participated in an engaging ‘Hygiene Day’ session focused on full-body cleanliness and healthy habits.
Through interactive discussions and activities, children learned the importance of keeping their hands, nails, and teeth clean to prevent germs and stay healthy. They also understood the need for regular haircuts and nail trimming as part of personal hygiene. The session encouraged students to take responsibility for their daily hygiene routines.
The objective of this session was to help children develop lifelong healthy habits and understand the connection between cleanliness and good health.
Students also learned about nutritious foods that help keep their bodies strong and their teeth healthy. By promoting awareness of personal hygiene from an early age, the session aimed to build confidence, self-care skills, and a healthy lifestyle among young learners.
