At St. Lawrence High School and Junior College, we believe in this quote firmly. In order to enable our students prepare efficiently towards their Board Examinations, a workshop was organized for them. Th workshop titled ‘Smart Study Techniques’ highlighted the different techniques students can use to prepare themselves well without falling prey to anxiety. Students were given guidance on and easy techniques to prepare themselves for the upcoming board exams. Techniques of meditation, breathing and different revision methods were discussed with them. In order to acquaint them of the workings of the highest law making body of the country, our Parliament, students of grade 10 of St. Lawrence High School and Junior College participated in an event named Young Indians Parliament. The students were able to understand the basics of the political fabric of our country. They understood how political parties function, what are the responsibilities of the ruling party and the opposition. Two of our students, Miss Lavanya Kshirsagar and Mst. Tanish Medhane also were selected for the national level of this event.

To commemorate the birth anniversary of the great Indian mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan, St. Lawrence High School & Jr. College celebrates ‘National Mathematics Day’ annually. To mark this occasion, a maths quiz was organized for both junior (grades 5, 6, 7) and senior (grades 8, 9, 10) grades. The event aimed to foster a love for mathematics, encourage analytical thinking, and help students overcome the fear of maths.
