At St. Lawrence School, we are proud to share the achievement of our talented student, Tanmay Sambhaji Khairnar. He participated in the Guru-Shishya Mega Competition, jointly organized by K. K. Wagh English Medium School and Muktangan, where he showcased his creativity and skill in the Fruit Carving Decoration event. With his intricate and artistic carving on a watermelon, Tanmay impressed the judges and secured the Second Position in the competition. 🧵 Stitch Buttonhole Activity – Guides
The girl guides of St. Lawrence High School and Junior College enthusiastically took part in the Buttonhole Stitching Activity, learning the step-by-step technique of making neat and durable buttonholes. Guided by the teachers, they practiced measuring, marking, and stitching, improving their patience, precision, and creativity. By the end, each participant proudly completed her own buttonhole, gaining confidence in a skill useful for both everyday repairs and creative garment-making.
Founder’s Day Celebration at St. Lawrence
"Founders’ Day is not just a celebration; it is a reminder of the dreams, values, and sacrifices that continue to inspire us every day." St Lawrence High School and Junior College celebrated Founders’ Day with great enthusiasm and pride to honour the vision and dedication of our school’s founder, Mrs. Summan Datta. Prior to the celebration, students and teachers participated in a range of activities with the intention of giving back to the society. Students planted trees on a hill. Another group of students visited an old age home to serve meals
