Best out of Waste at St Lawrence!

The creative young minds of the Primary Section at St. Lawrence High School & Junior College participated in a unique and inspiring event called the “Waste to Wonders” activity. Focused on promoting environmental awareness and creativity, the activity encouraged students to repurpose waste materials into useful and beautiful items.

With great enthusiasm, students were engaged in making many useful items like – diaries from leftover notebook pages, diyas using coconut shells, bird feeders crafted from plastic bottles, piggy bank and pot holders, wall hangings stitched from leftover cloth pieces, paper bowls from waste papers and paper bags creatively folded from old newspapers

The hands-on experience helped students understand the importance of recycling and gave them a sense of accomplishment in transforming waste into wonders. It was a wonderful blend of fun, learning, and sustainability!
