Family – Where life begins, and love never ends.
At St. Lawrence High School & Jr. College, students learned about ‘My Family’ through a meaningful family tree activity. Families provide an environment of warmth, love, and understanding, essential for the emotional and psychological development of their members. This emotional stability fosters self-confidence and self-esteem, making individuals resilient and capable of handling life’s challenges.
Through this activity, students explored the importance of family members and their roles. They created a family tree, sticking pictures of their family members on it. Students even made short slogans like, ‘We live together as a family’, ‘Home sweet Home’, and ‘My family, Happy family’. The children were on cloud nine as they shared stories and experiences about their parents, grandparents, and siblings. This activity was an amazing way to build strong family bonds at a very early age, helping children understand the invaluable role of family in their lives.
