Hindi isn’t just a language, it’s the soul of the nation. The language holds the rich culture of our country at its heart.
With the increasing western influence, the usage of Hindi is reducing and the literature is almost dying. To ensure, that the knowledge and legacy of the language lives on, a grand cultural programme was organized on the occasion of Hindi Diwas at St. Lawrence High School and Junior College by the Hindi Department of the school. The programme depicted the valour of the heroes of the Indian independence struggle. Students of various classes presented dance, skit, song, speeches and poems to showcase the theme. The splendid performance of the children created an atmosphere charged with patriotism.
