World Ozone Day is observed on September 16 every year to spread awareness about the depletion of the Ozone layer and to find possible solutions to preserve it. To spread awareness about the importance of the ozone layer and the need to protect this fragile shield of gas, the students of St.Lawrence High School & Junior College engaged in various activities.

The Grade 1 students made badges depicting the Ozone layer depletion.

The Grade 2 & 3 students made beautiful posters to  spread awareness about the depletion of this layer and find possible solutions to preserve it. This activity helped in enhancing their psychomotor skills and creative thinking.

The Grade 4 students composed slogans on World Ozone Day & they drew pictures to spread awareness about how to take responsibility for protecting the ozone layer.

Besides this they were also made aware of what all causes the depletion of the ozone layer and they pledged to spread awareness about stopping such habits. Thus it was a crucial learning that was passed on to the new generation who will be the future saviours of our planet.
