At St. Lawrence High School and Junior College, gratitude is the focus of the month of September.In order to help students understand and imbibe the quality of gratitude, a story was shared with the students of Grade 4.

Through the story of the Old Woman’s Lamp, the students understood that any act or offering given with a grateful heart is much more powerful than those made out of pretence.

The students understood the importance of being sincere and having faith. They learned that even small acts can make a big difference when done with love.

Sharing this story helped the young minds see value in their contributions, no matter how big or small.
