Students of today are the leaders of tomorrow.
In order to acquaint them of the workings of the highest law making body of the country, our Parliament, students of grade 10 of St. Lawrence High School and Junior College participated in an event named Young Indians Parliament.
The students were able to understand the basics of the political fabric of our country. They understood how political parties function, what are the responsibilities of the ruling party and the opposition.
Two of our students, Miss Lavanya Kshirsagar and Mst. Tanish Medhane also were selected for the national level of this event. Miss Lavanya also won a commendation for Innovative Ideas.
