The much-anticipated Inter-House General Knowledge Quiz Competition was successfully
held at St. Lawrence High School and Junior College. The event aimed to foster a spirit of
learning, teamwork, and healthy competition among students while expanding their horizons
in various domains of general knowledge. The theme of the competition was “ The incredible
World”.
The competition featured teams representing the four houses: Lily, Lotus Marigold and Tulip.
Each house was represented by a team of 2 participants from grade 7 and 8. The quiz was
divided into 5 rounds, each focusing on a specific category.
The competition was intense, with each team showcasing remarkable knowledge and quick
thinking. The audience also participated in fun interactive sessions between rounds, adding to
the excitement. After a close contest, Marigold House and Lily House emerged as the
winners. The winning teams were awarded with certificate and gifts.
The Inter-House General Knowledge Quiz Competition was a resounding success, offering
students an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and develop teamwork and confidence.
