Yoga Day at St Lawrence High School and Junior College

The St. Lawrence High School and Jr. College primary section celebrated Yoga Day with joy. All students and teachers paid tribute to healthy living and learnt that yoga is a value for life, not just for one day.
All classes performed different asanas, and the Grade 4 students joined with great enthusiasm. They did simple stretches, yoga poses, and breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom to stay calm and focused.
Teachers explained the importance of yoga in daily life. It keeps the body strong, the mind peaceful, and improves concentration and discipline. Children understood how yoga helps us respect our body and stay healthy.
We Lawrentians believe these values must start from childhood. Exercise and yoga are important for growing children because a healthy body gives a sharp mind and happy heart. The event ended with quiet meditation, leaving everyone calm and proud.
