Marathi Bhasha Din was celebrated with great fervor at St. Lawrence High School and Junior College where the students of class 7 and 8 displayed a beautiful portrayal of the Maharashtrian culture through different dance forms.
The when, how and why of the Marathi Bhasha Din was reiterated through a speech by a student of class 6. More Josh was added to the event by the school choir who sang a melodious song.
The day culminated with the students taking a pledge to keep the Marathi language alive and never forget their roots.
