Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” — Pelé
This stands completely true in case of our young Lawrentians who have put in their hard work and sweat in practicing and then bearing the fruits of their hard work by winning.
An Inter School Fruit Carving competition was organised by K.K. Wagh English Medium School where the students of St.Lawrence High School and Junior College bagged varied prizes in different categories i.e. Group A and Group B.
In Group A, Srushti Patil of class 7 bagged the first prize and Siya Jha won the consolation prize.
In Group B, Priya Shardul of grade 8 bagged the second prize.
The winners were awarded with trophy, certificate and cash . The aim of making our students participate in such competitions is to give them exposure which in turn will help them to develop their personalities and also motivate them to do better.
