At St. Lawrence High School and Junior College, a joyful Fancy Dress Competition was organized for the students of Grade 1 and 2.

The competition aimed to develop confidence, communication skills, creativity, stage presence, and self-expression among students while encouraging them to learn about different themes in a fun and interactive way.

The little stars of Grade 1 looked adorable as they dressed up for topics like My Favourite Community Helper, My Favourite Bird or Animal, My Favourite Vegetable or Fruit and National Symbols. From brave doctors and helpful policemen to cute peacocks, fresh fruits and our proud Tiranga, the stage was full of charm and cuteness. Every child looked like a little rainbow walking on stage!

The young talents of Grade 2 impressed everyone with their creative ideas on topics like Healthy Food Hero, Waste to Wonder Champion, Super Saver of Water, My Favourite Book Character and Future Me. Children spoke confidently about saving water, reusing waste, eating healthy food and their big dreams of becoming doctors, teachers and astronauts. Their words were small but their dreams were super big and bright!

All the students spoke with confidence, clear pronunciation and lovely expressions within 1 to 1.5 minutes. Their colourful costumes and sweet speeches made the day truly special and full of cheerful claps.
