Threads of love at St Lawrence High School and Junior College – Rakhi Making Activity
St. Lawrence High School & Junior College celebrated Raksha Bandhan by organizing a Rakhi Making Activity for students. The activity was held during the Art period in all classes under the guidance of our Art Teacher. All classrooms were filled with colours and festive cheer.
The students of Grade 1, 2 and 3 made beautiful eco-friendly Rakhis using paper, glitter and sketch pens. They enjoyed making colourful Rakhis with great excitement. The students of Grade 4 made designer Rakhis using pearls, beads, stones and threads. Their Rakhis were very creative and beautiful.
All the Rakhis were displayed in the classrooms and appreciated by the teachers. The students learned the true meaning of Raksha Bandhan – the bond of love, care and protection. It was a fun and joyful activity for all.
