St. Lawrence High School and Junior College celebrated SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation with an engaging programme spreading the important message of “Save Water.”

Students presented a meaningful skit showing how we can save water through simple habits, such as turning off the tap while brushing. They reminded everyone that every drop counts.

The teachers also presented a special act in which one teacher portrayed a fish. The fish expressed how aquatic animals are suffering and dying because of the garbage humans throw into water bodies. The act highlighted the importance of keeping our rivers, lakes and other water sources clean.

The programme beautifully conveyed that saving water and protecting it from pollution is everyone’s responsibility. It encouraged students to use water wisely and become responsible protectors of our precious natural resource.
