At St. Lawrence High School and Junior College, we believe that reading is a wonderful habit that nurtures imagination, enhances vocabulary, and opens doors to a world of knowledge. With this thought in mind, our students participated in a special reading session aimed at cultivating the habit of reading and developing a love for books.

During the session, the students immersed themselves in their own storybook. As they turned the pages, they explored the fascinating world of Matilda, a bright and imaginative young girl whose love for books makes her truly inspiring. The engaging story encouraged students to discover the joy of reading while strengthening their reading skills, comprehension, and imagination.

The session provided students with a peaceful and enjoyable opportunity to connect with books at their own pace. It also highlighted the importance of making reading a regular part of daily life. Through such activities, we aim to encourage our young learners to become confident readers, curious thinkers, and lifelong learners.
