A journey to Japan at St Lawrence High School!

The beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people!

At St.Lawrence High School and Junior College our little students are regularly introduced to different countries and cultures of the world so this time they learnt about Japan.

The Grade 2 students were acquainted with Japanese culture and their lifestyle. They also learnt about the National Flag of Japan. They particularly enjoyed greeting each other in Japanese by saying – “Konnichiwa.”

They witnessed the blooming cherry blossoms, Sumo wrestling and the highest mountain of Japan – Mount Fuji – virtually. They were also taught how Japan is called the land of the rising Sun.

Last but not the least, our Japan excursion tour concluded by dressing up all children in kimonos and by teaching them how to use chopsticks to eat.
