Boredom Busting Box Sparks Creativity in Grades 3 & 4

Students of Grades 3 and 4 at St. Lawrence High School recently took part in a fun-filled classroom initiative called the “Boredom Busting Box.” Designed to keep free time engaging and meaningful, this activity encouraged students to create their own games, puzzles, crafts, and brain teasers to fill a shared box.

The aim was simple—turn moments of boredom into bursts of creativity. Students enthusiastically contributed ideas, working together to design entertaining and educational activities that promote collaboration, problem-solving, and innovation.

The Boredom Busting Box has quickly become a classroom favorite, offering students a joyful way to channel their imagination. This initiative reflects the school’s commitment to fostering active engagement, creativity, and independent thinking—even in the quietest moments of the day.
