Morya Morya Ganpati Bappa Morya!!
The most awaited festival, Ganesh Chaturthi, was celebrated with immense enthusiasm, devotion, and love for the beloved Bappa in St. Lawrence High School & Jr. College. It was not just a five-day celebration—the preparations had begun weeks in advance. As per tradition, the Grade 9 students took charge of the entire festival. From making the idol, decorating the venue, preparing lists, purchasing the required items, balancing the budget, designing e-invites, and much more—every detail was planned and executed by them. To celebrate the spirit of creativity and eco-friendliness, our school, St. Lawrence High School and Junior College organized a Ganpati Making Workshop for the students of Grades 5, 6, and 7. The event aimed to instill artistic skills, cultural awareness, and environmental responsibility among young learners. The workshop began with a short introduction on the significance of Lord Ganesha in Indian culture and the importance of using eco-friendly materials to protect the environment.
