A wise man once said, “Every little action adds up to make a big difference. Choose paper bags and save our planet.”

At St Lawrence High School and Junior College, we believe in creating change in our society through the children we mould and not just in giving the children an academic education.

On the occasion of Paper Bag Day, we conducted an activity to promote the significance of utilizing paper bags instead of plastic.

The Grade 4 students made beautiful paper bags with different choices of colours to express their learning that through our consumption habits, we should make a conscious effort to protect our planet Earth.

They imbibed the value that every paper bag we use is a step towards a greener future. The students also took an oath that this Paper Bag Day, let’s come together to inspire others to make a positive change in our society.
