Recitation competitions provide a platform for young students to showcase their language skills, confidence and creativity. To make our students more confident and creative, St.Lawrence High School and Jr College organised a recitation competition for the grade 1 and grade 2 students.

By participating in this event, they developed their communication skills, memory and self-expression. The Grade 1 students expressed their thoughts on the topic – National Symbols of India, and the grade 2 students expressed their thoughts on the topic – Freedom Fighters of India.

Each child was able to speak without any inhibitions and they fluently delivered their speeches. This competition helped them to become more articulate and also taught them a thing or two about their motherland.
