At St. Lawrence High School and Junior College, the Primary Section celebrated Independence Day 2026 with pride and patriotism.

The programme began with patriotic songs and speeches in Hindi, English and Marathi.

The highlight was a skit on “The Dandi March – Salt Satyagraha”. Through this, the children understood the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the meaning of peaceful courage and truth.

History was kept alive as students learned that true freedom today means discipline, cleanliness, responsibility and respect for our motherland.

The Grade 3 and 4 students added energy with a vibrant Patriotic Dance.

Summan Ma’am appreciated the efforts of students, teachers, aunties and bhaiyas. She reminded everyone that to honor our “Bharat Bhoomi”, we must take care of small duties — keep our books and classrooms clean, help at home, follow rules, and work hard for the nation.
