At St. Lawrence High School and Junior College, an eco-friendly Ganesh idol-making workshop was organized to encourage children to sculpt their own Ganpati Bappa alongside their parents. This initiative not only promoted creativity but also instilled the value of environmental responsibility in our students.

The workshop provided a special opportunity for parents and children to enjoy quality time together as they lovingly crafted their idols using Shadu Matti (natural clay). This hands-on activity emphasized the importance of choosing eco-friendly materials for Ganesh idols, reinforcing the message of sustainability.

The students thoroughly enjoyed creating lasting memories with their parents, capturing the moments with photos that will be cherished for years to come. Quality family time like this fosters strong bonds, helping children feel valued and connected. Such connections have a profound impact on a child’s mental health, making them more sociable and improving their academic performance.
