“Garv hai Hindi par, garv hai apni bhasha par!”

St. Lawrence High School and Junior College, Primary Section celebrated Hindi Diwas with great enthusiasm and pride.

The programme began by highlighting the importance of Hindi as a language that binds our diverse nation together. The anchors of the day were superb and impressed everyone with their confident and fluent speeches in Hindi.

The students presented a colourful array of performances. A meaningful Nukkad Natak on Junk Food gave a strong message about healthy eating habits in an entertaining way. The soulful Doha recitation and a melodious Hindi song presentation won everyone’s heart.

The Chief Guest, Col. Vijay Kumar Dutta, addressed the students. He spoke about the beauty and importance of Hindi and motivated the children to be hardworking and to respect all languages. He highly praised the primary students for their excellent command over Hindi at such a young age and said that with this smartness and talent, they will do fabulous in the future.

The function concluded with a heartfelt gratitude note thanking all the students, teachers and staff who worked hard to make the celebration a success.
