“A Happy Home is Filled with Love and Care!”

At St. Lawrence High School and Junior College, the Grade 1 students enthusiastically participated in an interactive EVS lesson on “Home Sweet Home.” The students learned about the importance of a home, different types of houses such as kutcha and pucca houses, the various rooms in a house, and the value of keeping their homes clean and helping their family members.

The objective of the session was to help students understand the importance of a safe and loving home and encourage them to develop a sense of responsibility towards their family and surroundings. The students actively shared information about their own homes and spoke confidently about their favourite room in the house, explaining why it is special to them. This activity enhanced their communication skills, boosted their confidence, and helped them appreciate the comfort, warmth, and happiness that a loving home provides.

It was a joyful and enriching learning experience for all.
