Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality. —Warren Bennis

At St Lawrence High School & Junior College, we always strive to inculcate a sense of responsibility and commitment among the students with their heads held high, ready to shoulder responsibilities as leaders.

The investiture ceremony for the year 2023-24 was organized with great splendour and dignity. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Managing Trustee and Founder Principal Mrs. Summan Datta and Trustee Col. Vijay Kumar Datta.

A spirit of harmony and dynamism filled the air as the grand ceremony commenced with Saraswati Vandana presented by the school choir, the Lawrentian Symphony, followed by releasing the balloons symbolising hope and indomitable high-flying spirit of the students.

The Investiture Ceremony is a solemn occasion wherein all the young students are prepared to don the mantle of leadership and responsibility while carrying it out with utmost dedication. The newly elected Head Girl, Miss Lavanya Kshirsagar and Head Boy, Master Tanish Medhane along with the other members of the student council pledged to work earnestly and uphold the honour and glory of the institution while receiving their prestigious badge from our beloved Summan Ma’am.

The outgoing members shared their experiences of being student leaders while the newly elected members shared their determinations for the year.

In her address to the students, the Managing Trustee and Founder Principal, Mrs. Summan Datta congratulated the newly elected council and thanked the outgoing council leaders. Ma’am reminded the council, that they need to lead by example. Ma’am also reiterated that being leaders, the council members need to take up responsibilities with integrity and compassion.
