The Annual Sports and Cultural Fest of St. Lawrence High School and Junior College was held on 3rd December 2022. The Lawrentian family believes in the overall development of the students and this event aimed at fostering the qualities of sportsmanship, team spirit and making the students aware of the physical and mental benefits of playing sports.

The theme of this year’s event was India – 75 Glorious Years celebrating the 75 years of independence and India’s progress over the last 75 years in the field of healthcare, defence, agriculture and digitalization. Mrs. Pratibha Bhadhane , Director of Town Planning and Joint Secretary Urban Development was the Chief Guest of the event.

The show started with the March Past by the four houses I.e. Marigold, Tulip, Lily and Lotus house. It was followed by the different races in varied categories.

The four houses also put-up spectacular performances through their drills incorporating two concepts and sending out a beautiful message.

Not only the students but their parents also had a lot of fun while participating in different races arranged for them.

Students of the passing out batch of class 10 and teachers of the school were felicitated with awards and prizes. The Daisaku Ikeda Award for the Best Teacher was awarded to Mr. Sandeep Thasingar and the Daisaku Ikeda Award for the Best Student was awarded to Miss Sanika Agnihotri.

The Chief Guest, Mrs. Bhadane encouraged the students to never give up on their dreams and to always persevere.
