At St. Lawrence High School and Junior College our little minds of Grade 1 were introduced to a new story “Pinchoo’s holiday with grandmother” in their Kathalaya session. These sessions aim to take story telling to a whole new level so that children can learn the English language structure, morals, life skills and much more.

The story was about a boy named Pinchoo and his grandmother. It talked about how he went for his vacation to his grandma’s village and how he enjoyed nature, had zero screen time, helped his grandma for daily chores and learned to enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

The story deeply connected with most children as they all shared their own experiences with their grandparents and how they help them and spend time with them. It also taught the children to enjoy nature and spend more time in its presence rather than only watch Tv and phone videos.
