Students of St. Lawrence High School and Junior College once again brought pride and glory to the school by showcasing remarkable talent at the Guru-Shishya Smriti Mahotsav held at K.K. Wagh School. The Mahotsav provided a wonderful platform for students to display their creativity, confidence, and artistic skills.
The event commenced with a vibrant Rangoli Competition, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from several schools across the district, representing both urban and rural areas. The theme for the competition was “Nature Painting”, encouraging students to express their creativity through colourful and imaginative artwork. St. Lawrence High School and Junior College proudly participated with two students, and Rasika Sanap secured the First Position, bringing great honour to the school. She was felicitated with a memento, certificate, and a cash prize of ₹2,500.
Our students continued their winning streak in various competitions conducted as part of the event. In the Drawing Competition, Arohi Nikam secured First Position and Sanvi Raut secured Third Position in the Grades 5–7 group, while Dipika Gosavi won Second Position in the Grades 8–10 group.
The students also showcased their exceptional talent in the Dance Competition. Sneha Pandhare secured First Position in the Grades 5–7 group, while Shravani Pandhare won Second Position in the Grades 8–10 group.
Adding another feather to the school’s cap, Avneesh Gupta secured Second Position in the Shloka Competition in the senior students’ group. AIn the Marathi Elocution Competition, Arnav Joshi secured the First Position, bringing another proud achievement to the school. He was felicitated with a trophy, certificate, and a cash prize of ₹2,000.
These remarkable achievements are a testament to the creativity, dedication, confidence, and hard work of our students, as well as the constant guidance and encouragement provided by their teachers. The outstanding performances brought immense pride to St. Lawrence High School and Junior College and reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing talent beyond the classroom.
