The Mathematics department of St. Lawrence High School & Junior College recently organised a captivating activity for grade 8 students to solidify their understanding of cubes and cube roots. The primary objective was to transform the often-perceived dry subject of mathematics into an engaging and enjoyable learning experience. Students were encouraged to create colorful wheels, one side displaying cubes and the other showcasing their corresponding cube roots. The United Nations designated October 15 as World Students' Day to honourDr. Kalam's birthday, reflecting his legacy and promoting the values he advocatedSt. Lawrence High School and Junior College, Nashik, celebrated Reading Day for the students of class 5 to 8 on the occasion of World Students’ Day.Dr. Kalam inspired many young students to read books and to inculcate this character-building habit, the school arranged a special showcase of books of different genre and authors. Students enjoyed reading different types of books.
