A farm field trip by St Lawrence High School and Junior College!

Experience is the best teacher – C.B. Neblette

St. Lawrence High School and Junior College’s Grade 1 students recently went on an exciting field trip to Khot Dairy, where they discovered the fascinating world of dairy farming. The trip was an excellent opportunity for the young learners to gain hands-on experience and observe various animals up close.

During their visit, the students were thrilled to see an array of animals, including buffaloes, oxen, hens, pigeons, and goats. They were fascinated by the different creatures and eagerly observed their behavior, habitats, and dietary needs.

The students also gained valuable insights into the dairy farming process. They learned about the equipment used to store and measure milk, such as milk cans and measuring devices. This hands-on experience helped the students understand the importance of dairy farming and the processes involved in producing milk.

The field trip was a resounding success, with students enjoying themselves immensely while learning valuable lessons. The experience not only broadened their knowledge but also sparked their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
