At St. Lawrence High school and Junior college, the Grade 1 students learnt about tens and ones in their Math period. Tens and ones are fundamental components of our decimal system essential for understanding numbers and basic Mathematics operations.

Tens and ones help children to develop a strong foundation in Mathematics and also help them to solve sums and counting. Our curious minds were very excited to do these activities. The Grade 1 students did an activity of blocks, in which they were able to count upto any number using the blocks. By doing this they were able to apply the concept of counting to their daily life and objects.

Thus they build their blocks and also their understanding of Math in real life.
