The founders Day of a school holds a special place in the heart of every Lawrentian.
This year, the students and staff of St. Lawrence High School and Junior College celebrated the founders day with much gaiety and pomp.
A heart warming cultural programme was put together by the outgoing students of class 10, displaying their love and affection for the founder, Mrs. Summan Datta. The students promised to continue the legacy of our founder by rising by helping others. The promised to always look out for each other. Songs, specially written and composed by the school music teacher were presented by the school choir.
In a narrative dance display, class 10 and 11 students, showcased the life journey of our founder. In the end, Ma’am shared her struggle and how she persisted when faced with obstacles in beginning the school. She urged to dream their dreams and to take actions in fulfilling them.
