At St. Lawrence High School and Junior College our little students learnt about the oceans around India in their Indian Studies station. It was a new concept and new experience for them to learn more about the immediate borders of the bottom half of India.

They studied the water bodies like the Arabian sea, the Bay of Bengal, the Laccadive sea and the Indian Ocean. The students were also able to locate these water bodies on the map.

We always ensure that children learn every concept through interesting activities and while doing this activity they were very excited to colour the oceans around India. This task was really helpful for them to get a global view of India and its presence.
