Little Chefs donning their Hats at St Lawrence!!

“Cooking with kids is not just about ingredients, recipes, and cooking. It’s about harnessing imagination, empowerment, and creativity.”

– Guy Fieri

The little master chefs of St. Lawrence High School and Junior college learnt how to cook in their work experience session. Cooking encourages children’s thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. It also allows children the opportunity to use the knowledge they have and apply it by counting, measuring, following a sequence and following directions.

The students tried their hand at making 2 kinds of sweet bites namely – biscuits with sweet toppings and biscuit chaat. They were well within their limits of good hygiene and wore hand gloves, aprons and chef’s hats.

With perfect presentation it was served with love to their friends, teachers and all the staff members. This activity was conducted to make the children value their food and follow a sense of hygiene while cooking.
